Children play to have fun. That is how they develop. They develop motor skills, creativity, imagination, thinking ability, living together with others, dealing with frustrations, spatial insight and they learn to discover their own person with skills and interests. Every child develops differently, but for all children, play is the engine behind development. Play is the most natural form of learning. It challenges the children to do and go beyond a border.
On Aruba we have a lot of underprivileged children. Even though Aruba is called " One Happy Island" that does not count for everyone. At home as well as at school they do not have the toys and games which are needed for their development. Hunga Teca makes sure these children get the toys and games so they can start playing and love learning. To make sure all Aruban children get the same opportunity we need funds.
Our Projects
- Lending educational toys and games for children.
- Lending educational toys and games to primary schools who do not have the means to purchase them.
- Children have known all along, playing is the best way to learn.
- Squla’s online school program makes learning fun!
